My First EVER---

Happy Friday!

If y'all have the time, hop over to Mari McCarthy's blog CREATE RIGHT NOW and check out my first ever guest post! Please let me know what you think in the comment section!

AND you can come back here and enter to win Mari's new e-book Who are You? How to Use Journaling Therapy to Know and Grow Your Life.  Just leave a comment at the end of this post letting me know you'd like to enter!

The winner will be announced on LABOR DAY!

Here's my review of the book:

In this book, Mari offers ideas and tips for journaling that lead to self exploration. She explains how to begin journaling and be consistent. With this book, you will revisit stressful situations and explore them, learn to recognize them and discover how to deal better next time

Some of us have some trouble with a nasty inner voice from time to time that holds us back and makes us feel unworthy. Mari can help figure this one out too by teaching us how to recognize that nasty inner voice and how to make him a coach instead of a critic.

Have you ever tried journaling your dreams? Mari even explores the importance of dream journaling to our self discovery.

If you'd like to know more about Mari McCarthy you can visit her website CreatWriteNow. Also, Robyn Chausse posted a wonderful interview with Mari over at the WOW Blog that is worth the read. You will get a greater insight as to who Mari is and her thoughts about about discovering our inner selves.

  1. Thank you Pam for your outstanding guest blog post, you True Believer you! I especially love that you talk about Journaling as a daily, consistent practice! That's the only "Rule." The hows, whens, whats and wherefores are all your choice. WriteON!

  2. Mari-I am a habitual journaler now. Yes, it started with my MIL, but I am so grateful to your efforts which have led (and continue to lead) me down the path of self-discovery!

  3. Pam, loved your post on Mari's blog today. It's wonderful to see how journaling has become such an important part of your life. Using your journal as an aid to weight loss is very smart. There are several studies that show the best way to lose weight and keep it off is to journal about your process, no matter which diet you choose. Congrats on your weight loss!

I'd love a copy of Mari's book. As a long-time journaler and certified journal facilitator, I'm always on the lookout for another good book on journaling.

    Cheers,
    Barbara
