Challenge Day!

Today is the end of the SEVENTH week of Biz's Holiday 2011 Challenge and the end of the SIXTH week of Give Yourself the Best Gift and the Christmas Dress Challenge! (All buttons are on my sidebar but you can just click the links to get to their blogs OR click the links above!)

Here we go!

Check-In for ALL CHALLENGES:
  • Drink 64 oz of water daily: YES!
  • Exercise at least one hour 7 days/week: YES!
  • Keep daily calories between 1200 and 1400: YES!
  • Post daily exercise and food on livestrong.com: YES!
  • Post weekly results: YES!
  • No food after 8:00 pm: Check!
  • Eat slower: About half and half on this one.
  • Three days of strength training exercises: NO! Forgot all about it except for one stinking day!
Here's the calorie breakdown:
  • Monday: 1247
  • Tuesday: 1224
  • Wednesday: 1221
  • Thursday: 1315
  • Friday: 1255
  • Saturday: 1220
  • Sunday: 1085

Total calories for the week: 8567
Total CARDIO for the week: 25.62 miles AND 10 hours (most of the hours were from walking/jogging with a few from working with a trainer friend who is WICKED on those cardio exercises. Dude. Really.)
Weight total for Biz's Holiday Challenge 2011 week SEVEN: -1 lb (for a SEVEN week total of: -14.5 lbs)
Weight total for Give Yourself the Best Gift and Christmas Dress Challenge week SIX: -1 lb (for a SIX week total of: -12.5 lbs)
Two points:
  1. I was going to start walking a second time in the evenings (in an effort to see if I could do another 5 miles) but evidently it is impossible to do when I have had my one gallon of water for the day and do the pee pee dance after only one mile. Wonder if I can get them to put porta potties out there?
  2. Apparently, on livestrong.com, your daily allotment of calories decreases as your weight decreases. This is incentive to track your weight loss? HA! I don't think so! No matter. I am sticking with my 1200-1400/day. Thankyouverymuch.

Remember y'all: One day at a time!

Oh! AND HaPpY HaLlOwEeN!!!!

Glad you stopped by today, I was thinking of how you were doing. Around here, busy putting Halloween stuff away for another year, and taking a break. Thought I'd stop by.

  24. Biz- I WAS rocking it. Until I made that dang delicious gumbo of yours. LOL I sent Hubs a picture of it and he threatened my life if I don't leave him some. :)

TC-Thanks! Now if I can just keep it up I'll be able to wear that red sweater and look good in it!

Cathy-Thanks! I've found so many supportive and encouraging friends out there, like you, that's it's easy!

MT- I started walking a second time in the afternoons today and it felt so hot compared to our mornings. But, thankfully, we're no where near 90! Guess bartending is out then. LOL

Anni-Thank you! I swear that's not pink-doesn't it look purple to you? I've got to put the Halloween stuff up too. And get out the Turkey stuff! LOL
