Santa in October? Why not!

The weather has been perfect for TWO whole days! There's nothing quite so invigorating as walking 5 miles in 40 degree temps!

EXCEPT, like yesterday, when an old dude (in his 80s) pulls up and lets his doggie out and strikes up a conversation and, when he laughs, sounds just like SANTA! JUST. LIKE. SANTA. I kid you NOT! His laugh was so much like SANTA'S that it made me all kinds of happy! Seriously! He laughed a deep belly HOHOHOHOHOHOHO! And it WAS NOT FAKE!

AND THEN, just to top the day off right, the mail arrived and I got a PACKAGE! Just like CHRISTMAS!

I won an autumn giveaway at Katherine's Korner (just click on the link to share some bloggy love with Katherine) and it arrived yesterday. The very same day that I ran into a man who laughs JUST LIKE SANTA! Coincidence? Not to a true believer like me!

Inside the box was a card (which contained a very sweet hand written note) and wrapped packages! Tucker didn't smell doggie treats so he just sat there.

Though he did check just to make sure!

My Autumn prizes! How cute it that?! Pretty darn cute! (Tucker just had to check one more time!)

Many thanks to Katherine! I LOVE EVERYTHING!

  3. Last year about this time, I ran into Santa in Walmart or it could've been Santa's clone for all I know, when I asked if He was visiting me this year, he said, "I've been getting reports about you and they aren't pretty." I'd like to know which elf has been talking. This is a true story, too. Anyhow, you story had a happier ending. How cool is that spotting Santa and getting a present on the same day? You're lucky! I guess I better behave myself so Santa wouldn't frown out me next time I should happen to run into him. =D Have a good weekend!

  6. That is so cool. I've got to link up today...well I'll try to.
Love all your goodies. I was thinking about hosting a pre-Christmas gift exchange...think anyone would be interested? I did it a couple of years ago and it was a blast but I did spring. Maybe now would be to hard with everyone getting ready for other stuff. What's you're thoughts?
Okay, anyways, take care and have a blessed day my friend.

  14. What a lovely autumn present - I love the colors of the autumn. And it's kind of nice to get cosy inside and lighting some candles. It's cloudy and dull here in Dublin and a bit chilly. Had a nice walk home from work earlier. Enjoy your weekend my friend. Hugs x

  15. That is so cool! We have a Santa look-alike in our Costco. I'm pretty sure he's not the real deal, though because he never laughs.

Isn't it fun to get gifts in the mail?

  23. MT- Pretty sure AZ is way too hot for me! But then, Minnesota is way too cold for me...so...LOL

Desiree-It was a great day! Tucker just did that because he wasn't interested in any of it. If he had been, it would have been gone! LOL But he really is an angel!
