Acting Balanced
Here are today's Questions:

1. What movie or movies do you have to watch when they are on TV? (submitted by @rndmcrftyGAgrl) Anything Christmas related! ANYTHING. I love all those television Christmas movies and will watch them whenever they come on regardless of season!
 2. When you have out of town visitors, what fun places do you take them to in your town?  (Or where do you play tourist in your own town?) We live in Charleston, SC so it is THE tourist town around here and there are a gazillion things to do and see. Most of our visitors have already seen most everything so we usually just hang out at home and have oyster roasts and maybe walk around downtown (on King Street and the Market area- it's all about the shopping and restaurants for us down there! When the lovelies were in elementary school, second grade had a Charleston unit. We took 7 field trips each year I had a second grader including walking tours, carriage tours, plantation tours, etc. I did that times 4 daughters. That was enough for me with that sort of stuff.) Oh, and the beach is about 5 minutes away!
3. What was the first album, CD, Download you ever bought? Cannot remember this. I do remember the first ones I owned though- bought for me by my parents-were of The Supremes and The Beatles. My cousin and I used to take turns being Diana Ross, standing on the ottoman singing into our hairbrushes. Good times. And we swooned over The Beatles- even though we were in elementary school at the time. I remember my parents letting me stay up past my bedtime to watch The Beatles when they were on The Ed Sullivan Show!
4. Do you speak more than one language and which ones?  If not, what language would you like to know? I wish I did but I only speak English. I wish I could speak Spanish and maybe Italian. I took Spanish in college but only remember a tiny bit.
5. What is your dream job? Walking around stores smacking arresting people for being rude, mean and stupid- customers and employees.

  9. That dream job is perfect! Love it.

The first record I ever bought myself was a 78! I can still see it and hear it: Jimmie Rodgers singing English Country Garden. Very pre-rock'n'roll that was LOL

  13. My favorite city....I just like walking those old streets taking photos. I must have made 300 last year. We've done most of the plantation tours also. Not big on the restaurants, haven't found a great one.
We remember the same music so we must be of an age...

  14. Mama B- It is fun walking around downtown and taking pictures. I love to people watch down there too! There used to be a couple of fantastic restaurants down there but they've gone on now. We enjoy Fleet Landing but mostly because of the outside seating. I've heard of a couple of expensive ones but we don't frequent them. Next time, come across the bridge to Mount Pleasant and try a couple of places on Shem Creek.
