The List of the Unchanging 10

It's Monday and time to join Stasha over at The Good Life for Monday Listicles!

Each week Stasha gives us a theme for our lists. This week, we our topic was 10 Things I Have No Intention of Changing in 2013.

At first, I laughed about this week's list topic and thought, "I have just one thing to put on this list because I have no intention of changing anything. Not one blasted thing." LOL

And then I decided to try and break it down into a list of 10.

All you have to do to join the fun is click on the link or the button!

Ten Things I Have No Intentions of Changing:
  1.  The way I deal with people I don't like. Down here in the south, people tend to be nice to other people regardless of whether or not they like those other people. I'm not like that. If I don't like someone, I don't pretend that I do. It's not that I'm rude (well, not all the time) but I find it dishonest to pretend. So, I don't.
  2. My opinion on politics. That's not going to change. And no. I'm not going to get into it with y'all...my political views are personal to me. I plan to keep them that way. Hey! That's another thing I won't change. :)
  3. Apparently, I'm not going to change my dress size. Dang it. It just stays right here where it is and does not go down. Maybe if I say I'm NOT going to change it, I will! Does that count?
  4. My inability to knit worth a darn. I've been trying this new pattern for two weeks now and STILL can't get it right. I can't even see what it is I'm doing wrong. So, I won't be changing the way I knit---but I also won't change trying to get better. Good grief, that doesn't even make any sense.
  5. My love of teaching little kids. This is never going to change no matter how frustrating it may be. I LOVE teaching little kids.
  6. Loving the lovelies. This will never change no matter what year it is.
  7. My daily walks with my sweet Tucker. I love this early morning time with my pup!
  8. My love of music! I've loved music since I was a wee girl. I will never change the this! I also have no intention of changing my dislike of country music heavy metal.
  9. My dislike of summer. The heat of summer to be specific. It's just too dang hot down here during those months.
  10. The excitement of having the lovelies all home at the same time!
That's the list. What's on yours?

  4. I'm with you on everything but summer. I don't do cold. And it sounds like you can knit much better than me.

  6. There you go again...convincing me that we were separated at birth. I agree with every single thing. Well, maybe not the knitting so much although there is always room to improve.

And I tend to just avoid - as much as I can - those people I dislike. I'll even cross the road!

PS. If you want a little help with that project, just holler!

  7. I love your list. Mine would be about the same except for the knitting. I can hardly wait to visit the US to pick up more funky wool. I have even reprised some patterns that older than me.

  10. South- I can't do bitter cold but hot is even worse for me. I am not a fan of walking out to the car and being sweaty before I get there. LOL As far as knitting---I don't know. I'm pretty bad. :)

Robbie- Aren't kids the best?! Thanks!

Stephanie- I very much appreciate knowing that you're there to help me out of a knitting bind! I finally found a pattern that I like and am able to do! Win-win! :) I'll cross the road too. After I give them a dirty look. LOL

retired- Thanks! I've tried a few vintage patterns but they're HARD. I was able to knit the stocking caps a couple of years ago and the kids LOVED them.

Kim- Thanks! I'm glad that I finally arrived at the place where I can just be myself. You're so sweet!

Stasha- Thank you! You're the best!
