Bits And Pieces

I'm finally getting it back together to join Friday Fragments!

Just to catch y'all up---

The end of the school year IS FULL OUT CRAZY! No exaggeration. It seemed like we crammed another full year into the last two weeks. Totally NUTS. Everyone was so ready for summer break.

And then, one week out, I was bored. Ha! Is that in any way related to irony?

I spent this second week out of school thinking. Don't laugh. Thinking is quite taxing for some of us. Anyway, now I have some big ideas for changes in my office and the kitchen so I'm pretty sure that bored is now out of the picture. Fingers crossed that things will turn out the way I see them in my head.

We've been getting some of the most wonderful storms lately. You know, the kind that don't leave destruction in their paths? The garden has delighted in every single downpour. I'm hoping that I planted enough yummy goodness out there to be able to put up some tomatoes and spaghetti sauce. If the squash and zucchini and eggplant do well this year (and, so far they are) they won't keep. We'll eat all that as soon as it's picked!

My lovely weather app is nice enough to alert me to the severe thunderstorm warnings about an hour and a half AFTER the storms begin. Gotta love technology.

I'm keeping it short this week. Lucky y'all! :)

*Friday Fragments normally lives at Half-Past Kissin’ Time, but  is staying at UnknownMami.com for the summer!

  7. From dried cockroaches to summer time boring. Great posts. Of course, it doesn't take long for a "Doer" like you to find a new project and get busy. Hope you have a great summer!

  8. Oh boy. My hubby hates it when I think because it usually results in a honey-do list for him!

  9. I still think the best weather forecaster is a glance out the window. We know it's going to rain - just a question of how much.

Can't wait to see what you have in store for your office and kitchen.
