Summertime Chattin'

What makes today special?

A little chattin' on Patrice's porch! And, if we get lucky, we might even get to chat with the Wonderful Wendell!

Everyday Ruralty

Questions
  1. Do you enjoy grocery shopping? Not really. Though it's not as bad as clothes or shoe shopping. Or going to the automotive section of any store. Or going to any section of Lowe's that isn't going to result in a new bathroom, gardening or new storage stuff. LOL
  2. Are you following any particular news stories? No. Because all I get are opinions. If they would bother to just give me the facts, I can form my own opinions. Plus, I don't jump on the judgmental bandwagon with everyone else.
  3. How do you feel about all of the technology we have today? Is it too much, just right, or not enough? I'm good with it. Though some of it seems to be too much. But I love being able to stay in touch with the lovelies no matter where we are or what we're doing!
  4. On a scale of 1-10(1 being the least) how much do you worry? Probably around a 2 at the least and a 5 at the most. My mother worries about everything all the time and it drives me NUTS- she worries so much that her comments make us think she believes us to be too stupid to live in the world. So, I keep mine to a minimum. Besides, at some point we need to learn to trust.
  5. Without any of your responsibilities or concern with how you would accomplish this, what would your three dream jobs be? 1. Writer; 2. Psychic; 3. Private Detective. LOL
Happy Tuesday, y'all!

  1. I like all of your dream jobs. That would be so much fun but I think of course you are already a writer, being a Mom makes you a Psychic and a Private Detective. :)

  2. All three of those jobs would work very well together. :)

It is quite annoying that you can't trust the news anymore (if we ever could!). I don't like to watch it either.

I hope that you have a great week!

  6. I agree with you on the news & people's opinions. I think that may be what irritates me so bad when watching the news. Have a blessed week :O)

  9. I'm with you on the clothes and shoes shopping. I hate it! It doesn't help that styles are so very ugly these days.
