Wedding Week Hodgepodge

Ermahgerd! THREE days til the wedding! AND I have the rest of the week OFF to enjoy these next few days and the big day on Saturday. Family starts arriving today and that will continue through Friday. The really nice thing is that, if they tick me off, I can always go to work. Hahahahaha!

Seriously, we're all quite excited and looking forward to all the festivities. Those who bring drama shall be dealt with severely. And I mean that. ;)

Meanwhile, I finally have time to participate in the Hodgepodge! I've missed y'all so much!

1. It's still May, right? When were you last in the middle of something that might be described as mayhem? Right now! It's called WEDDING WEEK!

2. When did you last feel dismayed? I'm sure I have felt dismayed, but nothing is coming to me right now. Too much wedding stuff on my mind. :)

3. What's a food combination you like, but other people may find strange? Ketchup on scrambled eggs and/or tartar sauce on french fries. YUMMY!

4. "It is never too late to be what you might have been." Do you think that's true? Why or why not? Yes. If it wasn't, we'd never keep trying to improve ourselves, would we?

5. US News and World Report listed the best historic destinations in the US as follows-Washington D.C, Philadelphia PA, Williamsburg VA, Charleston SC, Boston MA, Richmnd VA, Savannah, GA, Santa Fe NM, Yellowstone, San Antonio TX, San Francisco CA, New Orleans LA, and Charlottesville VA.

Of those listed how many have you seen in person? Which two sites on the list would you most like to see in person? I've been to Washington, DC; San Francisco, CA; Savannah, GA; and I live in Charleston, SC. I can't say that I'm interested in seeing any of the other places.

6. May is National Physical Fitness and Sports Month. If you had to participate in a single fitness activity for the next half hour, which activity would you choose? A lovely run/walk!

7. What did you like best about the city, town, or neighborhood where you grew up? That my cousins lived right across the street and that we could walk to town and go to the drugstore, sit at the counter and order cherry cokes! And the 4th of July celebrations! And the snow we got every year that was enough to get sleds for Christmas but not enough to get sick of it. And...LOL

8.  Insert your own random thought here. I seriously cannot believe that it's wedding week! Didn't they JUST get engaged????? I wish I could post some of the bridal portraits for y'all to see but I can't risk it.  Everything seems to be in place and that, my wonderful friends, is all thanks to my BFF, Leslie, who has, once again, stepped up and taken us by our hands and made all of this wedding stuff fall into perfect place! Without her, God only knows what we would end up with on Saturday. LOVE you, Leslie!

Have a great rest of the week, y'all!

  13. Enjoy the wedding weekend!

And yes, ketchup on eggs was something my Dad did that I thought was just so gross.

Imagine my surprise one morning, my then 8 month old daughter in my Dad's lap, and he's spoon feeding her ketchup with eggs!

She's 22 now and still eat ketchup on eggs!
