TGIF HOPS!

It's time for FRIENDSHIP FRIDAY from Create With Joy.

Friendship Friday

Friendship Friday was designed to help bloggers meet new friends and comes with a question every week.

This week's question is:

What is your biggest blogging goal right now? My biggest blogging goal right now is getting myself organized and on a schedule so that my blogging (including the writing my blog and reading of other blogs) is more consistent. It's annoying when life gets in the way of blogging. :) But, if I form a schedule, nothing should stand in the way! Simple, right? Wrong. I suck at making schedules. It's something that happened when the last of the four lovelies left for college. Suddenly, there was no real need for schedules.

Or was there?

I think that forming a daily schedule would still be helpful whether I have a full nest or an empty one. I believe that a schedule would enable me to make the most of my time every day and I'm convinced that I would get so much more accomplished each and every day.

I might not have to be in ten different places at one time anymore. But I do have a lot of projects, chores, ideas, etc. that need to be started, worked on, completed.

So my biggest blogging challenge, it appears, is also my biggest life challenge right now. Who knew?!

I'm also linking up with ---friend and follow with Jan over at Midlife Parenting

Have a terrific weekend y'all!

  1. Schedules are right up there with dusting in my playbook. I tend to digress...even writing them down doesn't help. In fact, a LIST makes me feel very hemmed in. I wonder who I think is watching? It must be my mom...she was a great believer in lists :)

  2. Stephanie- All I know is that I'm not really getting anything done except the things I want to do. And, sometimes, not even those things. If I have a daily schedule like I did when the girls were coming along, it might help. We'll see. If not, then I'm just doomed. Or lazy. LOL

  4. I love lists....like, madly. They keep me on track, focused, and allow me to actually rest because if I DON'T make a list, then I work the whole day! If I do, then when I get to the end--I stop. (and if I'm feeling unappreciated, the list is left on the kitchen counter where my husband says, "wow--you did all this? That's how the soap pumps get filled and the curtains washed and the yard mowed...") lol

  5. I've found that in my old age, I do what I feel like doing...I get behind, get annoyed, work through it & move on! Life is simple if you choose to make it that way...:)JP

  6. I remember when I blogged more frequently it helped me a lot to schedule my posts. And even if you don´t have time that day to blog, you know your post will publish on time.

  7. You keep doing whatever you are doing. I love your blog regardless of schedules. I don't have one either except for wake up and make coffee! That's my only scheduled task. Hugs!

  8. I make a schedule most days even if there is nothing that must be accomplished. It keeps me from being lazy : )

  10. Joy- Thanks for stopping by!

Chantel- Yeah, I really think that writing a daily schedule is going to help tremendously! Especially with the little things that get forgotten.

Corner- I find that too many things get left undone and grow bigger and bigger and bigger and then, I'm overwhemled and don't get any of it done. I need order! LOL

Betty- That sounds like a good idea! Thanks!

Barb- That sounds like a great schedule! Maybe I'll just adopt yours. LOL Thanks!

Joyce- That's what I was hoping, that I would stop being lazy. I just didn't want to say it. LOL

Maren- I hear ya. I need that too!

  11. Isn't it strange how, when your kids are grown up and gone, that people think you're sitting there with nothing to do! I agree with you that a schedule is a good idea. There are so many projects and so little time! Have a great weekend.♥
