Chitty Chattin'

And Tuesday is a wrap! Except for one thing- a little chattin' it up on Patrice's porch. Oh, and that dinner I have to cook. And clean up. And then shower. And read. And...Ok, it's not a wrap yet. BUT, it IS time to chat with Patrice!

Questions
  1. What is your favorite time of day to read? If you don't enjoy reading, then what is your favorite time to watch TV/movies? I don't have a favorite time of day for reading. I just read when the mood hits or time allows. Right now, I'm mostly reading at night before going to sleep. Which is sort of stupid since a good book will keep me awake- I have a hard time putting a good book down.
  2. Did you watch the Super Bowl? If so, what was your favorite commercial? If you didn't watch it, what did you do Sunday night? I watched. The commercials were not good this year. I didn't laugh at any of them. However, I did like the Clydesdale one. It was so sweet.
  3. Have you been watching Downton Abbey?Who's your favorite character? If not, have you seen any interesting TV or movies series lately? Nope. I tried it a few times but never could get into it. I don't watch much television (especially soap opera type programs)- mostly, it's just on for the noise...except for The Big Bang Theory and Modern Family. Love those!
  4. Do you enjoy home parties for selling items? (like Pampered Chef, Southern Living, Mary Kay) It depends on what we're selling. DoodleBug and I just hosted a Thirty-One party and it was fun.
  5. Please finish this sentence. If I work very hard, I can get caught up on some of the things I'm behind on. I say 'some' because it's going to take more than hard work to get ALL of them done. Like a miracle.

Ok then, friends- it's your turn. What's on your mind?

  4. Patrice- I bet he did! Tell him I said he's much better looking than the Clydesdales. :) I did get some neat things. I'll have to do a post about it.

Mimi- I don't either. Lucky! Our break isn't until the first week in April.

  6. Home parties always make me feel obliged to spend money on stuff I would normally never buy. I have only hosted one for some craft company - MANY years ago.

One of the great things about being retired is that I can read whenever I want to...as long as I have the time at home. Agreed on the good book keeping you up. Sometimes they do just the opposite of helping to rest your mind and get to sleep.

  7. Oh well after this last episode I think it is maybe good you didn't get involved in it.
I just finished a great book. I don't know if I will tell anyone about it. :)
I might do a book report about it just for fun though.
I hope you are having a nice week.

  11. Suzanne- Thanks! Hope you get one too!

Stephanie- I usually have one when I want something. It's purely selfish. LOL I also tell people not to feel as though they have to buy anything just to come for the fellowship. I sure do miss my leisure time. I'm not sure what I was thinking, taking this job. Sheesh.

Kim- Shame on you! TELL about the book! I'm dying of curiosity.

Beth- I love it too! I have a few things and now, after this party, I have a few more. LOL

    Alessandra- Agreed. Here's the Thirty-One link: https://www.mythirtyone.com/RebeccaDeans/

Kathy- I've just started re-reading a series and I really should have waited until school is out this summer.
