Hodgity-Podgity

November sure did get here fast. I'm not real sure what happened to October. Sheesh. At least we are getting some cooler temps now. AND, it's Hodgepodge day! Woot! Woot!

1. My sister is celebrating a birthday today. Happy Birthday little sis! What's one way you're like your siblings?  If you don't have siblings how are you like your lifelong best friend or cousin? Happy birthday to your sister! I'm like my oldest younger brother in that we both laugh a lot and believe that life is too short to stress over every little thing. We also love to joke around and sing- though neither of us sing well. We would just like to enjoy life. He is better at not letting the negativity of others bring him down though.

2.  What's the first thing that comes to mind when you think of yourself at age eighteen? Dumb and immature.

3. Sculptor-actor-painter-dancer...if you could excel in one of these arts, which would you choose and why? Dancer. I've always loved dancing. I took classical ballet for about 8 years while growing up. I just LOVE dancing and watching ballet! Deanie is classically trained in ballet too. She was truly poetry in motion. She dance with a competition team all through high school and it was awesome!

4. What's a scent that takes you back in time, and where does it take you? Christmas trees. They take me right back to my childhood and the most wonderful memories anyone could ever hope to have!

5. November is for Peanut Butter Lovers (National Peanut Butter Lovers Month).  Are you a lover or a hater?  What's your favorite dish/recipe that calls for peanut butter? I can take it or leave it. But I do make some organic peanut butter bars that are delish!

6. What do people thank you personally for most often? Being there and being encouraging.

7. What event this year are you most thankful for? Hmmm...this is a tough one...I'm going with DoodleBug's graduation from college and Birdie's engagement. The graduation for obvious reasons, the engagement because that makes us two-for-two on GREAT sons-in-law! It's nice when your daughters get engaged but it's even better when the guys are so wonderful.

8.  Insert your own random thought here. Friday will be Breezy and BestSonInLawEVER's 5th anniversary! I can't believe it's been FIVE YEARS!

Have a great HUMP DAY, ya'll!

  5. Joyce- I think I jinxed the weather. We got up to 78 today. Sigh.

Kathy- Thanks! I know, it's just crazy!

Judy- I was. Until I jinxed it. It got up to 78 today. UGH. I went to every single competition they had every single year. It was great! Now, I have nothing because I either can't afford the ballet or no one else will go with me. LOL

Kim- Thanks! I do have lots to be thankful for this year. I hope I don't take it all for granted like I usually do.
