Challenge Day!

Today is the end of the EIGHTH week of Biz's Holiday 2011 Challenge and the end of the SEVENTH week of Give Yourself the Best Gift and the Christmas Dress Challenge! (All buttons are on my sidebar but you can just click the links to get to their blogs OR click the links above!)

Here we go!

Check-In for ALL CHALLENGES:

  • Drink 64 oz of water daily: YES!
  • Exercise at least one hour 7 days/week: YES!
  • Keep daily calories between 1200 and 1400: YES!
  • Post daily exercise and food on livestrong.com: YES!
  • Post weekly results: YES!
  • No food after 8:00 pm: Check!
  • Eat slower: Doing a little better here actually.
  • Three days of strength training exercises: NO! Forgot all about it. DANG IT!

Total calories for the week: 8597   
Total CARDIO for the week: 34.41 miles AND 13.05 hours
Weight total for Biz's Holiday Challenge 2011 week EIGHT: -2 lb (for a EIGHT week total of: -16.5 lbs)
Weight total for Give Yourself the Best Gift and Christmas Dress Challenge week SEVEN: -2 lb (for a SEVEN week total of: -14.5 lbs)
NOTE: the extra walking is going well except that the early evening crowd is out there for socializing NOT exercising and I'm about to get rude. We've also got to figure out the best time --you know AFTER the people go home but BEFORE dark. Regardless, the amount of miles covered and the number of hours increased and I do like that!

  2. You are SO on target with your plan! 2 pounds a week is a great goal. So I'm thinking that I could lose 6 pounds by Thanksgiving? Why do those holidays fill me with dread when it comes to the social eating thing!

    We don't have tests after we get our licenses here either (unless you're banned from driving for doing something bad and have to retake it after), I'm trying to get my license. We don't have anything like driver's ed/a school programme here, so if you want to drive you learn it yourself. I never wanted to, but I've gotten to the point where I need to now, so when I say 'driving test' it is my license I'm talking about.

    I know what you mean about the socializing crowds. They are "slendering" along and if they spot you (as in someone familiar) they want to talk it up. I´ve had that happen a few times too. Now I don´t take our my earphones and just say hi and pass them. Probably seems rude, but I´m not there for visiting. Hmph! :)

  10. You are so amazing. I get so excited to see you doing so good. I cheer you on every morning when I go outside to walk. I enjoy seeing all of the weight you are loosing. I am so amazed that you loose every week.
