Chitty Chattin'

My Tuesday's never seem to start off nice and easy and pleasing mostly because they aren't Friday and then because I always have to begin them with car duty at school. UGH.

But then I remember that I get to visit with Patrice and all the other lovely bloggers on Patrice's porch and all is well! AND, knowing that Spring Break is a mere two days away doesn't hurt either.

QUESTIONS

  1. Melanie asks "What kinds of seafood have you tried and liked? What is the most unique seafood you've eaten? I am not a fan of 'unique' food. Living at the coast makes seafood readily available and I do enjoy some of it- shrimp, various varieties of fish- but nothing else. I will eat crab depending on how it's prepared.
  2. Anne says, "An unforgettable holiday moment is_____________________. (She's on the other side of that BIG pond. I believe a holiday is a vacation on this side. ) I live a dull and boring life. Even while on vacay. To be honest- I've never had a vacation during my married years. Before that, we went every summer and on weekends in the fall. There's a (funny) memorable time I wrote about right here.
  3. Arlene wants to know, "When was the last time you tried something new?" New what? Food? Experience? Idea? I don't know---I'm trying the ketogenic diet now though not for weight loss but for general health. I try new ideas all the time at school to keep students actively engaged and not bored. But new and exciting places or experiences and such? Nah.
  4. Becky asks, "Who or what inspires you?" Probably just observing life. Though raising four daughters has been inspiring at times.
  5. Madonna wants to know," How did you chose the names of your children. Wendell adds,"If you don't have kids, how do you choose pet names?" I went with family names- from my grandmother to the husband's mother to those gone on long before us.
And that's a rap! Can't wait to come around and visit y'alls responses. After school, of course. ;)

  6. Sorry I took so long to visit. I've had the flu this week. Yuk! I let myself get run down and... I'd love to know how the ketogenic diet is doing. I hear that you are ferociously hungry for the first week or so until your body starts burning the proteins instead of carbs. Have a relaxing Easter.
