Porch Chattin'

My Tuesday's never seem to start off nice and easy and pleasing mostly because they aren't Friday and then because I always have to begin them with car duty at school. UGH.

But then I remember that I get to visit with Patrice and all the other lovely bloggers on Patrice's porch and all is well!

All you need to do to join in the fun is click the button!

Everyday Ruralty

QUESTIONS
  1. Furry Bottoms asks: Did you grow up in a small town, or a big town? Did you like it? Small town. NO. Busy bodies, know-it-alls and narrow-minded bigots filled that place. There might be some small towns that are lovely and quaint and filled with kind, loving people. But not that town. I've never looked back!
  2. Lisa wants to know: If you could pick one song to hear for the rest of your life, what would it be? Yeah, riiiight. Wouldn't be able to do that. Pretty sure that's a form of torture. Maybe we should suggest that the military use it as an option when dealing with the bad people. LOL
  3. Karen asks: What are your pet peeves? That list is waaaay too long to put here but I'll leave a few: talking with food in one's mouth; smacking when eating, interrupting when someone is talking; rattling a bag forever and a day- just close the thing or throw it away but STOP rattling it; and it goes on and on and on...LOL
  4. Colletta says: Do you remember your dreams? Are they in color or black and white? What is the craziest dream you've ever had? I do remember a lot of my dreams and they are in color unless they are set in the past. Weird. And the craziest is too long to write about here. Let's just say I have quite an imagination. Sure wish I could put it to use on pen and paper.
  5. Rachel asks: What is the perfect pair of shoes for you? Any kind of shoes that are NOT ON MY FEET are perfect for me! I am not a fan of shoes so I guess the best pair for me are flip-flops.
That does it for me! Head on over to Patrice's porch for more fun! Chat it up y'all!

  2. Those villages in novels always sound so lovely, don't they? Us small-town gals know better! I'm with you on that one - ain't never goin' back.

I love to look at shoes but I hate wearing them. It's weird that I could window shop for shoes all day and never want to buy them. Not a flip-flop person either...I'd rather be barefoot. Can't wait for warmer weather.

  3. Talking with food in your mouth is a big pet peeve of mine. So is interrupting.

I never could get the hang of flip flops, though. I have to have a heel strap.

  4. Judy- I don't know. Because I'm crazy? LOL Thanks for donating to the Relay for Life!

Stephanie- Hollywood has always made those small towns so lovely. But there's evil beneath. Hey! Isn't that a movie too? LOL Yeah, not a fan of the small town mentality. My shoes are off all the time. When I have to wear them, I usually op for the flops.

Becky- I like the flops because I can get my foot out of them quickly. I really prefer barefoot. As much as possible! :)

  10. There are some places that are worth leaving and not looking back.Black and white history dreams- colored current ones? Cool! Do the colored ones go to black and white when your brain archives them? I wonder if Wendell dreams. Hmmm?

  11. JP- Good for them or not, I can't stand to have my toes closed in. I wear my Asics for serious walking and running though. Can you see me out there doing that in my flops? LOL

Kim- Thanks! How go the wedding plans?

Croft- Drives me nuts too! Oh, I tell him. He just doesn't listen. LOL

Beth- Our winters are quite mild. It's only a few days (or seems that way) that we have to close in our toes. :)

Sherri- Hahahaha! You are too funny! Thanks! You too!

Patrice- Yes, my dream situation is rather odd. The dreams have to be from my childhood to be black and white. Maybe that means things were simpler then? Ha! My odd ones and current ones (even future?) are in color. Even my early adult ones. See? ODD. LOL Wendell? Of course he does! He dreams of a land made of carrots! :)
