Weekend walks are relaxing. Tuck and I are not trying to win any races or beat the clock. We just walk, enjoy, and appreciate.
The nature trail has always been one of Tucker's favorite places to walk. I like looking around for my favorite color in nature. I'm never disappointed.
Of course, arriving at the marsh around sunrise is never disappointing either.
But the reds are my favorite finds. Especially when they're surrounded by hearts.
Until we look left and see this- soda cans, beer cans, food wrappers, water bottles, etc. Yes, we know who does it. We also know that nothing is done to stop it. And I have a soapbox all about it but that's not what this post is about.
This post is about Tucker finding a Christmas tree! There's even a tiny spot of red on it.
Where did your weekend take you?
Our weekend hasn't taken us anywhere as pretty as where yours took you! We're just trying to get things done. Check my post tomorrow for my weekend recap.
ReplyDeleteI think I bit off more than I could chew this weekend. I'm exhausted. But the trees are up and the stockings are hung. The garland...well, maybe tomorrow. Maybe not. LOL Will do!
DeleteWhat awesome photos, my weekend was pretty run of the mill
ReplyDeleteThank you! Taking walks is run of the mill for my weekends. I like to keep them as uneventful as I possibly can. :)
DeleteOn Sunday's when Mark walks Skye he takes a bag to pick up things people just drop on the ground without a care in the world. They make us so mad!
ReplyDeleteIt's ridiculous. I can't believe people still litter.
