Beans and Hodgepodge

It's still too warm here. Borderline HOT, actually. The highs are in the mid 80s. This does not make me a happy camper. I'm so jealous of everyone enjoying nice fall temps and colors.

Oh well, at least I have FOOTBALL! And the Hodgepodge!

1. What's one thing that's still the same about you as when you were young? I still have issues with authority.

2. What's more important-history or science? Why? I guess I'll say science since we don't seem to learn from our mistakes, historically speaking. Though, in some ways, aren't they connected? It would really take way too long for me to elaborate on this and I'm sure it would become quite boring for y'all so I won't go on. And on. And on. You're welcome.

3. Lima, kidney, string, garbanzo, black or pinto-your favorite bean? Of those I'd have to say pinto. But I'm not really much of a bean lover unless they're in soups.

4. What's something people come to your town to do? This is historic Charleston so they come to tour and visit the beaches.

5. When was the last time you were in a meeting? Sum it up for us in five words or less. September 12th. "Shoot. Me. Now."

6. What special event would you like a VIP pass to attend? None that I can think of at the moment.

7. What's one piece of advice you'd give a writer? Write something every single day.

8.  Insert your own random thought here. Deanie's love interest (like interest?) of the moment is the drummer for The Wild Feathers. They will be playing here in Charleston tonight and he was so sweet to put DoodleBug (and guest), Birdie and IntendedSonInLaw on the list to get in free. I wanted to go too but, let's face it, they will just be getting started at my bed time. LOL

Anyway- here's the video when they were on the Late Late Show--they show the cute drummer a lot.

Have a great rest of the week, y'all!

  4. Kathy- I'll bet he is too! He's very intense on those things. :)

Lisa- It was the WORST meeting I've ever attended in my entire life. Ugh.

Judy- He is a cutie. Haven't met him yet but I hear he's really sweet.

I would have put the Super Bowl but I hate crowds. Even when football is involved.

  5. Cute drummer : )

Hubs had a co-worker who used to say there shouldn't be any chairs in a meeting. That way people would only say what they needed to say, and move on. He might have been on to something!

    1. He is a cutie! I doubt that a lack of seating would have stopped this man from talking at all. I thought I was going to go crazy while I was sitting there.
